Restlessness

One of the most disgusting feelings ever known is restlessness. You feel you have nothing to do. You want to do something, but you don't know what. I feel that way right now. It's such a disgusting feeling! I don't want to be here at school. I want to take a long walk in the forest, just sit down and lean against a tree and think. Take some photos and read a good book. And what I want the most is Spring.

I want Spring to come now! Spring is the best season of all; it smells good, beautiful flowers wakes up after a long and cold winter and everyone seems so happy when it's Spring, everything feels so easy, like you can climb every mountain in the world, it feels like you can do everything! The snow is gone and you're feeling free.

But NO! Here it's just comes more snow! Problems and anxiety accumulates and I just want to quit everything! Why do everything come at once? Can't it smooth out a little bit? Right now I simply hate snow, the cold and everything. I need a vacation. Only three weeks till winter vacation..

Now I'm going to stop crying about my own problems and do something about it. And I'm not going to write more about it.

Over to something more cosy: From Friday to Saturday the youths are going to have a pajamas party in our community. I think it will be great. Twilight is also coming to Askim ;D I want to see! :D

---------------

I just wanted to add a clip of the ending of Gegege no Kitaro ^^ I really liked this movie. (Little weird though xD) Here's the Ghost dance.. Wentz Eiji ^^,

It's been a while now, since I wrote in my blog last time. Many things have happen; Finished the Twilight book, interview with EF, shopping with Madeleine, Fila, Jumper, etc..

So, I'll just start:

It took me three days to finish Twilight. It's about 430 pages with English, so I'm a bit proud ^^, I loved the book! And now I want to see the movie again, cause now I know more because of the book :D

One of my favourite quotes from the book is when Bella get sick in Biology, while taking blood samples. Edward helps her to the nurses room and want her to go home, but Bella don't want to skip the rest of the day. Then Edward says: "It's healthy to ditch class now and then". And I think he's right! I know it's not good to say, but I actually feels a little better when I once in a while ditch class. (But don't think I do it too often! I've only done it a few times xD)

Friday afternoon, at 5 pm it was time for interview. I was sooo nervous at school, cause I wasn't done with the application.. :S But after school Madeleine and I went to this café called Graff. There Madeleine bought me a really good cocoa and helped me with my application.
Here I sit and writes about EF, interview and applications without telling what it's all about. So if you don't know what EF is, read this:

EF Education began in 1965 as a small Swedish company. Their mission: to make it possible for people around the world to communicate with one another across borders, breaking down barriers of language, culture and geography. Now, more than 40 years later, EF Education First is the international leader in study abroad, student exchange and international internship programs worldwide.

I was going to an interview because I want to go a High School Year in the United States.
EF High School Year is a student-exchange program where teenagers can go to another country, live with a host family and attend a local high school.

The interview went great! I got accepted! :)

After the interview I went to Madeleines place to sleep over. To celebrate that I got accepted we watched a Japanese horror-movie, One Missed Call. On Saturday we went to Askimtorget to shop. And this I can tell; I've never spend so much money in Askimtorget, ever! Suddenly we became shopping freaks! Madeleine and I who normally hate clothing stores! But we had fun though. That's the important thing.
Here's our shopping lists:

Madeleine:
  • Blue sweater/t-shirt thing.
  • A pair of pants :D
  • 2 bras
  • A singlet
  • Make-up bag :D

Pernille:

  • One gray dress.
  • A pair of high-heels. :D :D
  • 2 small tubes of body lotion.
  • A sexy turquoise dress you use when you go to sleep.
  • Make-up bag :D

I spend one more night at Madeleines place, cause I was going to come with her to Filadelfia Sunday. We also watched some more movies. One Missed Call 2, Shōnen wa Tori ni Natta & Gegege no Kitaro.

Sunday was Filadelfia-time. The band (that Madeleine's leading) had to practice before the meeting. I got interviewed by Erlend. I didn't know about it, so I was a bit nervous, since I hadn't prepared anything. But I think it went very well :)

When I got home I watched Jumper. Benedicte had downloaded it. So many people have said I should see it, and now I finally did. It was OK, I want to see it again some time :D

Here's the official Jumper trailer:

Some times I'm asking myself; why don't things come when you want them, but comes when you don't want them? (Weird phrase.. O.o)
I prayed so much for snow on Christmas Eve, but did it come? NO! But NOW, when I want to start drive Norbert (my bike) again, it's falling so much snow that we hardly comes out of the house! WHY?!
I only like snow in December. Now I just want Spring to come..

From Saturday to Sunday I spend the night at Amandas place. First we went to Askim Torget. There I bought a new mascara, one I'd never tried before. I loved it! One I definitely will continue with! :D

I also bought Twilight, the book. It's totally different from the movie: lines from the book is switched to other places in the movie! Things that appears in the movie, isn't in the book at all. And like almost every book made a film of; much in the book isn't in the movie.
The book is in English btw..

Amanda and I watched Sex and the City.. A lot xD I the end it became very boring. We also discovered many sick Norwegian games.. O.o And we played "Mujaffas BMW" on 123-spill.no xD

All days are alike

When mom drove us to school today, my brother was asking over and over again which day it was. He made fun of me because I didn't remember it was Friday today.. (Been a little confusing week). Then he started to ask; "Which day comes after Friday?" I said Saturday. "And after Saturday?" Sunday? "After Sunday?" I was getting little tired, so I just answered; "Jonathan, it's Monday, you know that. When a week ends a new one starts, and the same days repeat over and over again, week after week."

This phrase got me thinking. Everyday is just the same. Just once in a while it changes.. I don't want it to be like that! Sometimes I just want to drop out of school, travel around and just take each day as it comes.

Same with our school days. Every day is the same. We wake up early, go to school, take lessons and goes home again. What's so excited with that? Learn this and learn that. I'm so sick of it! It's the same, boring thing every day!

But English is a funny subject. Right now we learn about poetry. We're sitting in groups and making poems. Two poems each group to be more correct. All these poems are going to be a book.

Here's one of the poems my group made:

Our school day

Our teachers are very crazy
But the students are just lazy

Every time a teacher says
Now you learn this special phrase

But this teacher we don’t fear
Cause the students don’t care

Twilight and new camera

On Saturday Martine and I were in Ski and watched Twilight. Awesome movie! Right after the movie was finished I wanted to see it again!

Before we went to the cinema, we walked around in Ski Storsenter. There I found a camera. Finally I found one. Originally the price was 1.724, I got it for 999!

We took train both ways. Our train back was going 20.26. The movie was finished 20.32... So we had to take the next train, 22.26. But the 20.26 train was 20 minutes late, so we made it in time! :D Thank You!

Here's a summary of the Twilight movie:

"Bella Swan has always been a little bit different. Never one to run with the crowd, Bella never cared about fitting in with the trendy, plastic girls at her Phoenix, Arizona high school. When her mother remarried and Bella chooses to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she didn't expect much of anything to change. But things do change when she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen. For Edward is nothing like any boy she's ever met. He's nothing like anyone she's ever met, period. He's intelligent and witty, and he seems to see straight into her soul. In no time at all, they are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance - unorthodox because Edward really isn't like the other boys. He can run faster than a mountain lion. He can stop a moving car with his bare hands. Oh, and he hasn't aged since 1918. Like all vampires, he's immortal. That's right - vampire. But he doesn't have fangs - that's just in the movies. And he doesn't drink human blood, though Edward and his family are unique among vampires in that lifestyle choice. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for - a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. Somehow or other, they will have to manage their unmanageable love. But when unexpected visitors come to town and realize that there is a human among them Edward must fight to save Bella? A modern, visual, and visceral Romeo and Juliet story of the ultimate forbidden love affair - between vampire and mortal."

Twilight Official Trailer:

Some days ago the weather was so nice, so I grabbed a camera and went out for a little walk. And while I was walking around, I understood what a beautiful country I live in. Especially now in the winter.
